The legend of Water Dragon
The necklace features a metal wolf’s head connected to the armor of the water dragon adorned with embellishments. The entire necklace is created as a three-dimensional piece. The water wolf, designed as a dragon, has fins, armor decorated with embroidery, crystals, sequins, and beads.
The dragon’s tail features an imperial jasper stone. The dragon’s armor is made of gold and turquoise-colored leather. The turquoise color used in the work symbolizes the dragon’s watery world, while gold represents glory and victory in battles. The necklace is made using various techniques, including different types of embroidery, beading, peyote stitch, and combining leather with beads as 3D elements that form a cohesive whole.

My name is Adrianna Latosik, and I’m participating in „Battle of the Beadsmith” for the fifth time. My journey into jewelry making began in 2009, and it was love at first sight. As a self-taught artist, I combine various techniques to create surprising and unique jewelry and clothing. I enjoy mixing different forms, from embroidery, various fabric textures, metals, beads, to unique gemstones and other unconventional shapes. This year’s work for B.O.T.B 2023 was inspired by the legend of water dragon with the head of a wolf in 🐉 Ancient Dacia 🐉 Romania, East EUROPE 🐉
